Try to rest     
       being discouraged
             for lack of momentum
             for lack of love
             for lack of sleep
             for lack of money
O'er here my heart is breaking
    little bits
          and pieces
     run amok
          leaving
Like I've a hardy soul or something 
       kept awake
                 always writing
              for lack of dreaming
              for lack of knowing
              for lack of care
                    preferring I'd disappear quicker
As if the world's concerned with all the tenets
       in poetics
                    diffusing the same thing
            for lack of change
            for lack of nirvana
            for lack of poets
                   complicating
a simple truth: all life is lacking.

Awaken
      engage with what is
              full of activity
              full of love
              full of resource
                   constantly resourcing
O'er here my heart's rejoicing
    little bits
        and pieces
    run amok
        singing
Like I'd a hardy soul or something

          full of dreaming
          full of care
                   preferring I'd disappear quicker
